Former prosecutor for over fifteen (15) years, Scott C. Alleman, is licensed to practice in all Virginia Courts, and Federal Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Scott has practiced law in Virginia since 2003 and for thirteen (13) of those years, he served as a prosecutor for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Mr. Alleman prosecuted cases from minor misdemeanors to murder but spent most of his prosecution career as a vice prosecutor specializing in narcotics, criminal street gangs, illegal gambling, and human trafficking cases. Many of his cases were high-profile media cases. Scott prosecuted in local prosecutor’s offices in front of the local judges throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Scott also spent time as a federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of Virgina. As a prosecutor, he spent many years specializing in handling civil cases such as asset forfeiture, restoration of gun rights, alcohol interdiction, and mental health commitment appeals.

His experience as a prosecutor both for the Commonwealth and for the Federal Government gives him the understanding and knowledge that will assist you in making sure the government’s case against you was done properly. Knowing who’s handling the case on the other side and what they need to prove is a valuable asset in ensuring that you get the best representation possible.

As a trial attorney, Scott has tried juries throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and successfully argued Appellate cases before the Supreme Court of Virginia.

Scott has also handled family law matters throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.  With over two decades of daily courtroom litigation experience, Scott has the knowledge to vigorously represent your interest in the courtroom.

In addition, Scott worked for Allstate Insurance Company as a senior civil defense trial counsel handling large personal injury lawsuits.  As such, he gained invaluable experience as a civil litigator conducting civil discovery, depositions, and trying civil jury trials.
